MS Competitive Events

The Middle School competitive events recognize and reward excellence in a broad range of business and career-related areas. Competitive events introduce members to and excite them about exploring career readiness.  Events are based on the goals of FBLA and the curricula of business and business-related education programs. They also address both PA academic standards and national career clusters.

In Pennsylvania, Middle School members do not come together to compete in person at region or state conferences. Instead, objective and production test competitors take their online tests at their school during the testing window. For events with presentations or projects, competitors submit recordings of their presentations or submit their completed work via Blue Panda so that judges can evaluate the items.

The official guidelines for all middle school competitive events are found in the Pennsylvania FBLA Middle School Competitive Events Handbook published each fall.  If there is a discrepancy between the information found below and the information in the Handbook, the information in the Handbook is to be considered the “official” set of guidelines.

You may also print the complete PA FBLA middle school competitive event guidelines by clicking on the event name.  The file will be in PDF format, and Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view and print the file.
