Milford, PA – On Sept. 19, 2026, Delaware Valley High School held its annual Warrior Fest, and DV FBLA members sold slime to promote the American Heart Association, bringing the club’s community spirit while supporting a great cause.
Each year, our DV FBLA chapter along with other businesses, organizations, and athletic teams, engage our community in a day of connections, partnerships, and school spirit. Warrior Fest was an amazing opportunity for us to fundraise for the American Heart Association, through an engaging, hands-on activity for all ages – selling slime!
We gave individuals the opportunity to make their own slime, various types depending on what they purchased. They added their own slime base (clear or white), color, and one or more additions! Kids ranging from pre-K to high school came by not only to learn about the American Heart Association, but to have fun.
The American Heart Association is the oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. This nonprofit organization is also Pennsylvania FBLA’s state project this year, and our Delaware Valley FBLA chapter was eager to help fundraise. By the end of the day, our DV FBLA chapter ran out of slime, ran low on supplies, and made $364 to support the American Heart Association.
