To receive credit for your chapter’s contributions for state project awards, payments are to be mailed to:

make checks payable to PA FBLA or PA FBLA State Project (preferred)

Receipts are issued by the PA FBLA State Treasurer, Emerson Swanson, to the chapter adviser once a contribution is received.  The receipt will identify cumulative totals.  Chapters receive credit for the following fundraising:

  • Contribution checks mailed directly to the state office.
  • SLW basket auction contributions.
  • SLW shirt purchases (profit after cost is paid).
    • Credit IS NOT provided for contributions made directly to the AHA.

For the state project awards presented at the Opening Session of the State Leadership Conference in April 2027, all final payments must be received in conference HQ (Cocoa Terrace) by 12:00 noon on April 12, 2027.  For credit for Outstanding Chapter Criteria, all payments must be received at the state office by February 15, 2027.

Fundraising Activity Ideas
A list of fundraising opportunities and event ideas that chapters can use to support their Heart Challenge efforts and engage their school communities.  AHA added both a clickable link and scannable QR code to the bottom which connects to a Google Form listing the local director’s name, counties, and contact information. You can even click on an email address, and it will open a blank email for them!

Educational Resources and Support
AHA encourages school advisers and student leaders to connect directly with their local director for any educational programming needs. We can provide resources and information on a variety of topics, including:

    • Vaping and tobacco prevention
    • Hands-Only CPR
    • Nutrition and healthy eating
    • Physical activity and exercise
    • Heart disease awareness
    • Stroke awareness and warning signs
    • Other heart-health education opportunities
