Dear FBLA-PBL Members and Advisers,
On behalf of the Board of Directors and staff at the National FBLA-PBL office, it is with great excitement that we announce Alexander T. Graham as the new president/CEO of the premier career technical student organization beginning in August.
For the past six years, Alex served as executive director/CEO for The Council for Exceptional Children in Arlington, Virginia. During his more than 30-year career, he has also held leadership positions at the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals, the National Association of Workforce Boards, Printing Industries of America, Epylon Corporation and the Association of School Business Officials International.
Based on his extensive leadership experience, Alex is ready to further FBLA-PBL to new heights and lead programs designed around leadership development, academic competitions, education, membership benefits, community service and awards and recognition.
Alex shared, “I can think of nothing more important than providing students with the leadership opportunities and skills necessary for today’s modern workforce. FBLA-PBL is already the top student business group in the country thanks to the long-time leadership of Jean Buckley. With her retirement, I look forward to building on the organization’s many successes in the years to come.”
The Board of Directors is extremely fortunate to welcome such an energetic and qualified individual as Alex to head FBLA-PBL. His impressive career in association management, including advancing memberships, revenues, and programs, will be invaluable to us as we move forward. The Board is confident that our growth and importance as an industry leader will continue to increase under the guidance of such a talented President and CEO.
