2009-10 Topic

Digital Video Production

Digital video has become a prominent and effective way of conveying new ideas and products.  This event provides recognition for FBLA members who demonstrate the ability to create an effective video to present an idea to a specific audience.  The student(s) will complete the project based on the posted topic on the PA FBLA web site.

Restrictions: Maximum of two presentations per chapter; one team of 1, 2, or 3 members per chapter; one member may repeat
Region Leadership Conference Eligibility: None (not a region event)
State Leadership Conference Eligibility: Maximum of two presentations per chapter; must submit project to PA FBLA Executive Director by the published deadline. Top 10 teams will participate in oral presentation of project at the SLC

2009-2010 Topic:
Prepare a video for a retail business that will train employees on methods of preventing theft. Topics in the video may include, but are not limited to, the following: physical barriers to prevent theft, electronic tags, learning to identify actions that could lead to store theft, and incentives for employees who catch thieves.
